Robin Stewart, actor, horse lover and breeder, became a household name and sex symbol in Britain and Australia when he starred in the 1970’s British series ‘Bless This House’. As Mike Abbott, Stewart played the son of British comedy great Sid James in 65 episodes between 1971 and 1976. But for Stewart, ‘Bless This House’ was just one part of a long and colourful career on the stage, in movies and in television, which included appearances alongside greats including Richard Burton, Julie Andrews, Alec Guinnes and Ingrid Bergman, and on Australian television in the 1980’s soap Sons and Daughters
